Our Knoxfield Workshop boasts decades of experience and a spacious, well-maintained facility—ready to welcome the next mechanic to join us on our journey toward zero-emissions buses. The Position This is a dynamic role offering opportunities for development, training, and career progression. You’ll be working alongside a diverse team of highly qualified mechanics—some of the best in the business. Key Responsibilities: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and related systems Diagnose mechanical issues using advanced diagnostic tools Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure safety and reliability Repair or replace faulty parts, components, and systems Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs Collaborate with the team to ensure timely and high-quality service delivery What We’re Looking For Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or equivalent trade qualification) Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic, ideally with buses or heavy vehicles Proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work under pressure and follow procedures Valid driver’s licence; MR or HR licence highly desirable What We Offer If you’re seeking a change, want to contribute to the community, and are keen to expand your skillset to electric vehicles, Ventura is the right move for you.
