We are seeking a reliable, compassionate male Personal Care Assistant to start immediately on a casual, hourly basis. This role suits someone who enjoys flexible shifts, values dignity and independence, and can travel to client homes across the local area. What the Role Involves Personal care: Assistance with bathing, grooming, dressing and toileting while preserving privacy and choice. Mobility support: Helping with transfers, safe manual handling, and supervised walking or use of mobility aids. Medication prompting: Reminding and supporting clients to take prescribed medications as directed (not administering injections unless qualified). Domestic assistance: Light household tasks such as meal preparation, laundry, shopping support, and maintaining a safe living environment. Companionship and wellbeing: Conversation, social connection, accompaniment to appointments and community activities, and monitoring overall wellbeing. Documentation: Accurate recording of care delivered, reporting changes in condition and communicating with care coordinators and families. Key Requirements Male Applicants only, as per client matching criteria. Full Australian Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle for travel to client locations. Current and valid Police Check. Working with Children Check (WWCC) cleared and current. Previous experience in aged care, disability support, community nursing assistance, or similar personal care roles preferred. Strong communication skills, empathy, cultural sensitivity and respect for client choice and independence.
