Cowellys Constructions Pty Ltd is a growing Queensland-based construction company delivering high-quality residential and commercial building projects. Due to continued business growth and increasing project demand, we are seeking a skilled and motivated Carpenter to join our team on a full-time basis. As a Carpenter at Cowellys Constructions, you will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of carpentry duties across residential and commercial construction projects. This role requires a reliable tradesperson who can work independently and as part of a team while maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety. Key Responsibilities ● Interpret and work from plans, drawings, and specifications ● Construct, install, and repair frameworks, structures, and fittings ● Perform formwork, framing, fix-outs, and general carpentry tasks ● Measure, cut, assemble, and install materials accurately ● Ensure work complies with Australian building standards and WHS requirements ● Operate hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery safely Coordinate with supervisors, subcontractors, and other trades on site ● Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment About You ● Trade qualified Carpenter (Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent) ● Minimum 2 - 3 years’ relevant industry experience ● Strong understanding of building methods and materials ● Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines ● High attention to detail and quality workmanship ● Strong commitment to workplace health and safety ● White Card (mandatory) ● Driver’s licence preferred What We Offer ● Competitive salary: $75,000 – $85,000 super ● Full-time secure employment (38 hours per week) ● Ongoing work with a growing construction company ● Supportive team environment ● Opportunity for long-term career progression
