Apply now Casual Driver NSW Government Department Transport Services Operations Casual | $40.43 per hour superannuation About the RoleThe Transport Services Operations team provides high-quality transport services and non-driving support to senior government officials and other approved clients. We are seeking reliable, professional and discreet individuals to join our client's team. In this role, you will deliver safe, timely and professional transport services while maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality, presentation, and customer service. Work is allocated based on operational requirements and may include early mornings, evenings and weekends. Key Responsibilities As a Casual Driver, you will: Provide professional driving and non-driving services for authorised officials, including work outside standard business hours Transport passengers, documents and equipment safely and efficiently Assist with travel arrangements and minor office-related requirements Operate and maintain allocated pool vehicles, ensuring cleanliness, security and roadworthiness Conduct routine vehicle checks (e.g. tyres, lights, oil, coolant, safety equipment) and report maintenance issues promptly. Maintain accurate records, including vehicle log books and running sheets Provide relief in other driving roles as required Build cooperative working relationships with officials and their staff while maintaining regular communication with the Transport Services Operations team Deliver services in line with security protocols, WHS requirements, operational procedures and customer service standards Maintain a high standard of personal grooming, presentation, and professional conduct at all times. You will be required to drive in a business suite. About YouYou are calm, dependable and professional, with the ability to work flexibly in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
