This role leads Sunnyfield’s practice improvement initiatives and Restrictive Practices, partnering with leaders, frontline teams and service recipients (clients) to strengthen safeguarding, compliance and continuous improvement. You’ll work with complexity, influence across the organisation, and play a critical role in improving outcomes and experiences for people with lived experience of disability. Key Responsibilities Lead and embed organisation wide practice improvement initiatives, strengthening service quality and driving individual outcomes. Build practice capability through coaching, training and evidence-based approaches, ensuring client voice informs decision making. Provide strategic and operational leadership of Restrictive Practices, ensuring compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements. Chair the Restrictive Practices Authorisation Panel and lead initiatives to reduce and eliminate restrictive practices. Manage and support the Restrictive Practices team to deliver high quality, rights-based practice. Leads focussed, time limited, practice support initiatives surrounding clients who are experiencing complexity Champion safeguarding, quality, risk management and continuous improvement across Sunnyfield, partnering with leaders to drive change. Model Sunnyfield’s values, promote safe work practices, and strengthen collaboration across teams. About You You’re a confident, values led leader with strong experience in disability or related human services. You bring deep practice knowledge, a commitment to human rights, and the ability to influence, coach and lead change in complex, regulated environments. You enjoy working within local communities, collaborating with people with lived experience, their circle of support and frontline team. What You’ll Bring Significant experience in disability, aged care or similar human services environments. Demonstrated leadership of Restrictive Practices and safeguarding obligations. Strong understanding of the NDIS, person centred practice and supported decision making. Proven ability to lead teams, partner with senior stakeholders and drive practice improvement. Excellent communication, coaching and relationship building skills. Relevant qualifications (desirable) and required checks including NDIS Worker Screening, WWCC and current driver’s licence.
