27th February, 2026 Engineering Trades Australia (ETA) are urgently seeking SMP Supervisors, Riggers and Mechanical Fitters for a major CHPP construction project at Collinsville, QLD. Multiple positions available with immediate starts. PLEASE NOTE MUST HOLD CURRENT AND VALID S11 AND CBM TO BE CONSIDERED Scope of Works SMP installation across CHPP construction Conveyor systems, structural components, and fixed plant Installation of screens and centrifuges Flotation module construction and fit-out Mechanical installation, alignment, and assembly What’s in it for you? SMP Supervisors $72.12/hr, Mechanical Fitters $61.36/hr, Riggers $58.35/hr PENS Site allowance paid per hour FIFO from Brisbane (via Mackay) or DIDO surrounds Bus provided from Mackay for DIDO Camp accommodation provided Weekly pay cycle – paid every Friday Paid demobilisation days (8 hours) Roster & Hours 2 weeks on / 1 week off Day shift only Weekdays: 11-hour days (6.00am–5.00pm) Weekends: Paid for 11 hours, finish at 4.30pm All roles require: Proven experience in CHPP, mining, or heavy construction environments Hands-on experience with mechanical, rigging, or SMP installation works relevant to the role Ability to work safely at heights and in confined spaces Experience following site procedures and safety standards Readiness to start immediately and commit to project duration Familiarity with site inductions, with Glencore Generic Induction advantageous All roles Standard 11 Current Coal Board Medical S11 certification White Card Working at Heights & Confined Spaces Australian working rights Ability to pass pre-employment medical & D&A Immediate availability preferred Glencore inductions advantageous but not essential Note: Roles are required ASAP and candidates must be available at minimum until July , with project extension highly likely.
