An innovative Federal Government Agency is looking to engage an experienced Test Manager (Data & Backend Specialist) to act as a Subject Matter Expert in backend and data testing. This role will focus on validating complex statistical calculations, ETL pipelines and data models within a sophisticated regulatory environment. The Test Manager will secure a contract until 30 June 2026 with 2 x 12-month extension options. The Test Manager will be responsible for but not limited to; • Acting as SME for backend testing using advanced SQL and stored procedures • Designing and executing end-to-end test strategies across ETL pipelines, SSAS Tabular models and Power BI dashboards • Managing the full test lifecycle from requirements through UAT and release • Leading defect triage, stakeholder engagement and resolution activities • Validating statistical calculations and complex business rules within a regulatory framework The Test Manager will have experience in the following: • Proven experience testing data ingestion, transformation and ETL processes • Experience testing SSAS Tabular models and validating statistical concepts • Prior experience testing large-scale applications in complex environments • Strong stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills • Experience with Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, Dynamics 365 or Jira (desirable) This is an exciting opportunity for a Test Lead looking to join an innovative Federal Agency.
