Pathway to CFO Lead sustainable growth & build capability Sunshine Coast Senior Finance Leader Sunshine Coast / Civil Construction | Sustainable Growth Phase We are partnering with a well-established civil construction group to appoint a senior finance leader who is ready to step into a highly influential role during a critical phase of sustainable growth and greenfield projects. This opportunity will suit either an experienced construction finance executive or a high-performing second-in-command (Finance Manager / Senior Commercial Manager) ready to take the next step. Key responsibilities: Lead financial management across a $50M civil/building construction business Partner closely with the Board and financiers through a period of sustainable and improvement Build and refine cost accounting and job costing frameworks to improve margin control and pricing discipline Own management accounting, forecasting, and reporting to a high governance standard Drive cash flow, working capital, cost controls, and creditor management Lead audits and ensure full statutory and regulatory compliance Mentor and develop a capable finance and administration team About you: Proven experience in civil or building construction environments Qualified CA/ ACCA / CPA Strong understanding of job costing, WIP, cash flow, and margin management Confident operating with senior stakeholders and comfortable presenting at Board level Ready to step up or already operating in a senior leadership capacity This is a rare opportunity to make a genuine impact and accelerate your leadership career within a respected construction business.
