About the Role EL1 Project Manager - Aged Care Accommodation Database Development 12-month labour hire (with strong potential to extend) Classification: EL1 This role leads the redevelopment of a legacy database that underpins aged care accommodation policy and compliance frameworks. Reporting to the Director, you'll manage end-to-end project delivery, procurement, and vendor engagement to deliver a modern, fit-for-purpose solution. Key Responsibilities Lead the project lifecycle - plan, gather requirements, and deliver a robust database solution. Manage procurement end-to-end - oversee vendor selection and contract processes in line with Commonwealth standards. Collaborate with vendors - refine technical requirements and ensure successful delivery. Keep projects on track - monitor timelines, budgets, and risks; implement corrective actions. Champion governance - maintain accurate documentation and compliance artefacts. Engage stakeholders effectively - chair meetings, communicate progress, and foster collaboration. Deliver clear insights - prepare high-quality reports for senior executives and governance committees. About You To be eligible, you must be an Australian Citizen and demonstrate: Proven experience in IT project management and delivery of complex, high-risk projects. Strong background in government procurement and contract management. Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills. Ability to work independently under limited direction and deliver quality outcomes.
