The Why The Head of Security is responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership to ensure UBank’s security posture aligns with NAB Group standards while addressing subsidiary-specific requirements. You will lead UBank’s security team, driving execution of security priorities and risk management practices and ensuring robust governance and compliance. Key Responsibilities: Develop & maintain a high-level holistic version of Subsidiary capability alignment to NAB Group Security strategy including multiyear roadmap/ target state. Influence Non managed subsidiary security alignment. Represent a group-wide perspective on re-use and optimisation of security choices Proactively look for opportunities to decommission legacy technologies or to otherwise simplify our technology landscape and operating model. Collaborate with cross domain business / tech/ arch stakeholders to navigate trade-offs between achieving business value versus adhering to architectural guard-rails and our risk and regulatory obligations Influence tech debt reduction and legacy decom to reduce security impacts and elevated business threats Understand and communicate strategic themes and other key business drivers for security to various stakeholders Drive security leadership decisions via governance forums Your Experience: 10 years' Security leadership experience implementing similar functions in large, complex, and regulated organisation Strong business engagement and development experience, with significant stakeholder relationship management Track record of operating and delivering consistent results, influencing senior leaders across strategic & operational outcomes Knowledge of cyber-security processes and frameworks, such as ISO27000 series, NIST, COBIT Awareness of banking/finance compliance obligations and linkage to processes, including CPS234, PCI DSS Why Ubank?
