REBORN is an independent Creative and Media agency delivering campaigns with cultural impact and commercial performance. We partner with leading brands in FMCG, travel and wellness to create ideas that move fast and scale smart. We are hiring a Head of Social to lead and evolve REBORN’s social capability across paid and organic content, influencer partnerships and platform strategy. This role reports into the Senior Leadership Team and is responsible for building a high-performing, commercially disciplined social function within the agency. This is a senior leadership role with hands-on responsibility. In the short term, you will be directly involved in shaping strategy, refining process, elevating output and strengthening team capability. Over time, you will scale the department with structure, clarity and measurable performance standards. We are looking for someone who understands that building a best-in-class function requires operational rigour, collaboration and cultural leadership, not just vision. WHAT YOU’LL DO Build and strengthen REBORN’s Social capability Define and evolve our capability across organic social, paid social amplification and influencer strategy Establish clear processes, workflows and quality standards across content planning, publishing and boosting Implement scalable systems for briefing, delivery, reporting and optimisation Ensure social thinking is fully integrated with creative, media and strategy functions Report performance, progress and commercial impact into the SLT Lead strategy while remaining hands-on Develop and oversee social strategies across key accounts Guide content calendars, platform positioning and creator frameworks Oversee paid social boosting strategy in partnership with the paid media team Maintain direct involvement in major campaigns, pitches and key client work Step into accounts where required to elevate output or stabilise delivery Grow client relationships and commercial impact Lead senior client relationships across lifestyle, travel, wellness and consumer brands Identify opportunities to expand scope across organic, paid and influencer activity Contribute to forecasting, scoping and resourcing with commercial discipline Support pitch responses and integrated campaign development Drive performance and accountability Build clear frameworks for measurement across engagement, reach, brand impact and performance outcomes Introduce structured testing and optimisation methodologies Ensure reporting translates into action and measurable growth Establish KPIs for both client performance and internal team standards Develop and align the team Lead and mentor a team across content, community and influencer management Clarify roles, expectations and quality benchmarks Foster collaboration across creative, media and strategy departments Create a culture of accountability, experimentation and continuous improvement Requirements WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR 8 to 12 years’ experience leading social strategy across organic, paid and influencer channels Experience building or restructuring a social function within an agency environment Strong operational mindset with the ability to implement systems and improve delivery processes Demonstrated experience integrating organic and paid social for measurable performance impact Proven experience developing influencer strategies and managing creator partnerships Commercial acumen across scoping, forecasting and revenue growth Confident presenter with experience pitching and leading senior client conversations Hands-on fluency across Meta, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn and relevant creator tools Comfortable balancing strategic leadership with hands-on execution Benefits BENEFITS Hybrid working with minimum 2 days per week in our Sydney office Learning and development support Exposure to diverse and high-profile clients Senior team culture focused on craft, collaboration and accountability Competitive salary aligned to experience and impact
