Registered Psychologist / Clinical Psychologist Gearing Up Psychology has been an established provider of psychological services since 2015 in the Hunter. We have a private practice in the beautiful town of Lorn, Maitland in the Hunter region of NSW and are seeking registered and/or clinical psychologists to join our team, to help with the referral load and to play a vital role in providing quality psychological services to our local community. Positions available: Contractor positions : competitive remuneration superanuation commensurate with qualifications and experience. Further details / options discussed during interview. Tasks & Responsibilities Provide quality, evidence based psychological assessments to referred clients using a broad range of evidence based assessment tools. Provide therapeutic sessions using evidence based interventions. Complete electronic client notes and reports to an appropriate standard as outlined by the APS code of ethics / Supervisor standards. Maintain accurate and confidential client records including progress notes, assessments and reports Write letters to other health professionals and external agencies where necessary Ability to act in a professional manner and work collaboratively with the team.
