Your new role As an experienced Business Analyst, you will join the Information Systems & Technology team in a full-time, ongoing position. Reporting to the Senior Applications, you will play a key part in understanding business needs, shaping practical technology solutions, and contributing to the successful delivery of multiple ongoing projects.Youll partner closely with stakeholders to analyse requirements, guide solution design, and ensure delivery aligns with organisational objectives and delivers real business value.Key responsibilities include: Engaging with stakeholders to elicit, analyse, and validate business requirements via workshops, interviews, and documentation. Translating business needs into clear, prioritised requirements and maintaining communication between business and technical teams. Conducting options analysis and vendor research to identify suitable solutions, considering cost, functionality, risk, and alignment. Preparing detailed business cases, including cost-benefit analysis and risk assessments. Producing highquality artefacts such as requirement specifications, process maps, and functional documentation. Supporting project planning activities, including scope, timelines, and resource requirements. Ensuring solutions meet stakeholder expectations and business needs throughout delivery. Identifying opportunities to optimise processes and enhance systems, supporting continuous improvement initiatives. What you'll need to succeed You will bring a strong blend of technical understanding, analytical capability, and stakeholder engagement skills. To be successful, youll ideally have: A bachelors degree in Information Systems, Technology, or a related discipline. 3 years experience as a Business Analyst (ideally within IS&T), or experience in systems or data analysis. Knowledge of core technology concepts such as data models, interfaces, security, and performance. Proven ability to evaluate vendor solutions, perform options analysis, and maintain endtoend traceability. Strong communication, problemsolving, and interpersonal skills. Experience in modelling business processes using various tools and techniques. The ability to influence stakeholders at all levels and build strong working relationships. Relevant IS&T certifications such as CBAP, IIBA accreditation, or knowledge of the BABOK (desirable).
