Job details $36.78-$40.54/hour penalties Opportunity to transition into a permanent role Pay increases based on performance About Our Client Our client specialises in the production of large concrete pipes used for bridges, highways and underground water systems. They are the leading provider of high-quality precast concrete products including reinforced concrete pipes, box culverts & concrete pits. They are seeking entry level welders to join their Swanbank facility. What You Will Be Doing The reo section MIG welds steel to form large coils, which are then transferred to the precast area. Successful candidates will work from 4:00am 12:00pm (Monday to Friday), with daily overtime available. Your core duties will include; Weld steel rebar, cages, L-frames, and pile cages for precast molds Interpret technical drawings, plans, and symbols for accurate placement and welding Ensuring the workshop/yard is clean at all times What You Will Need Drivers Licence reliable transport Previous MIG welding experience (minimum 3 months) Physically fit as work can be labour intensive Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screening Our client is happy & willing to take on new to the welding industry applicants.
