We offer a selected variety of 7 different regional cuisines including Maharashtrian, Punjabi, Bengali, Rajasthani, Goan, Gujarati and South Indian. We are currently seeking an experienced Chef (minimum 3 years of work experience). This individual must be proactive, demonstrates good cooking skills and has a strong background in hospitality. The Role Reporting to the Managing Director, the role will include but not limited to: Updating and creating menu items Considering and updating menu pricing depending on cost Ensuring food and operation supplies are ordered Ensuring dishes quality are at high standard Preparing, cooking, and plating dishes Demonstrating the knowledge and technique of South Asian cuisine Supervising and training kitchen staffs to ensure productivity and food standard Managing and leading the kitchen staffs Ensuring hygiene and cleanliness of the kitchen Working with front of house staffs to solve food related issues when necessary Skills and Experience Proactive attitude and willingness to learn Excellent communication, multi-tasking and problem solving skills A team player with positive attitude Motivated with a strong work ethic and reliable nature Impeccable attention to detail Previous experience in a fast paced, high volume, upmarket restaurant recommend Experienced in the field Have a personal desire to succeed and genuine desire to be the best Flexible availability across 7 day a week operation Knowledge of South Asian Cuisine Prior Indian restaurant experience necessary Salary: 76,000.00 to $80,000.00 per annum
