About the Role: Securecorp is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Security Business Manager to join our Victorian operations. Reporting directly to the State Operations Manager, this role is responsible for leading and enhancing service delivery across a portfolio of key corporate, retail, and government clients throughout Victoria. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership capability, exceptional communication skills, sound commercial acumen, and a hands-on approach to managing multiple sites across a broad geographic area. Key Responsibilities The primary responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to: Building and maintaining strong client relationships to ensure service excellence and account retention Delivering consistently high levels of customer service across all managed sites Achieving financial targets, including revenue growth and profit margin performance Leading, mentoring, and managing on-site teams, including performance management and staff development Overseeing roster management and compliance, including leave coverage and workforce planning Supporting payroll processes in collaboration with the operations team (fortnightly processing) Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the portfolio Managing emergency incidents as they arise, including after-hours response when required Implementing and maintaining emergency response and security management plans Ensuring compliance with awards, industrial instruments, and labour management requirements About You To be successful in this role, you will bring: A minimum of three years’ experience in a management role, ideally within the security industry, major events, facilities management, or a similar operational environment Demonstrated experience managing teams across multiple sites and maintaining strong client relationships Strong commercial awareness, including sound knowledge of P&L management and labour costing Proven leadership experience with small to medium operational teams Experience managing performance appraisals, disciplinary processes, incident investigations, and report writing The ability to develop and implement compliant, cost-effective rosters Excellent communication, negotiation, and networking skills Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and the ability to learn payroll and accounts platforms The ability to work autonomously with strong time management and attention to detail A current Victorian Security and/or Security Adviser’s Licence (or the ability to obtain one) What We Offer Securecorp offers a supportive and rewarding working environment, including: Fully maintained company vehicle Laptop and mobile phone Competitive remuneration, reviewed annually Ongoing training and professional development, including a company-funded Certificate IV in Leadership and Management Access to our Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Staff incentives and recognition programs Autonomy and flexible work arrangements to support work–life balance Genuine opportunities for career progression within a growing national organisation Employee Benefits Recognition and Rewards: Celebrate your achievements with our employee rewards and commendations.
