It manages a team of Fleet Managers to respond to and action customer fleet management requests and further seek opportunities to maximize business renewal and organic growth. TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES The major responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to: Maintain strong customer relationships and understanding of client needs. Regularly review all customers fleet through effective reporting and seek opportunities to reduce costs through increased fleet optimization. Manage ongoing customer retention. Lead the team of Fleet Managers to proactively manage the portfolio of customers and deliver professional fleet management. Drive a consistent safety and compliance focus with all internal and external stakeholders as part of SG Fleet’s WHS obligations as a Fleet Services provider. This includes ensuring critical activities such as Due for Service, manufacturer recalls and driver safety bulletins are executed in a timely manner. Capture all business potential of clients and maximise client renewal while maximising margins. Seek to up sell additional products and services and introduce initiatives to the client that will add value to the relationship. Take ownership of issue resolution ensuring contractual obligations and KPI’s are measured, met and exceeded. Be the first point of escalation customer issue escalation both externally and internally. Conduct a regular customer visit program, ensuring productive relationships are fostered and maintained with key decision makers. Regularly review all customers fleet through effective reporting and seek opportunities to reduce costs through increased fleet optimisation. Manage ongoing customer retention. Provide ongoing customer reporting as required. Oversee the preparation of and delivery customer reviews in line with SG Fleet standards and support the preparation of review information. Demonstrate a fundamental knowledge of SG Fleet systems including Miles, Fleet intelligence and Booking intelligence, and support the training of Fleet Management team in these systems. Build rapport and by understanding client needs seek opportunities for revenue growth including fee uplift. Where applicable introduce and maintain a “client strategy” document for each client. Support a structured client visitation program. Skills and Experience Formal qualifications in a Marketing or business-related discipline desirable Experience in building and maintaining relationships at senior corporate level. Ability to effectively manage relationships, deliver clear succinct messages supported by evidence. Superior communication, negotiation and presentation skills. High level of IT proficiency including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint) High level numeracy skills with ability to understand complex finance / taxation concepts. Comprehensive and up to date understanding of the Australian fleet management, FBT and salary packing environment. Strong understanding of the car industry. Demonstrated initiative, problem solving, patience, flexibility and co-cooperativeness.
