In this position the successful applicant will be managing all aspects of each project for the Melbourne region, ensuring they are delivered on time and exceed client’s expectations. Our client is willing to consider applicants with experience in the domestic flooring industry who are interested in moving into the commercial side of flooring. Responsibilities will include: Quoting new jobs Manage subcontractors and suppliers to achieve project outcomes Placing orders Logistics for site deliveries Site inspections Preparation of variations to contracts Preparation of job sheets and costing for subcontractors Liaising with builders and suppliers in relation to projects Build and maintain long term client relationships Product knowledge Requirements The skills and experience you will need to be considered: Minimum 2 years of experience in the flooring industry (either domestic or commercial) Excellent attention to detail Exceptional customer relationship skills Critical thinking, problem solving and decision-making skills Good computer skills Effectively prioritise workload Ability to communicate effectively with clients, installers and sub-contractors White Card Valid Drivers License Benefits What’s in it for you?
