You will be part of our dynamic team providing home care services to our community. Working with our amazing St Basil's team you will provide essential support to our clients in their homes where you will assist with a variety of daily living activities, such as personal care, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and companionship. Your caring heart and helping hands will enable our clients to live comfortably in their own homes. Your duties will include (but not be limited to): Assisting in the provision of individualised care to our clients Helping clients with activities of daily living according to their care plans, including personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting), domestic assistance, and social support Accompanying clients for community access, including grocery shopping, social activities, and appointments Ensuring privacy, confidentiality, and dignity for all clients Responding to emergency situations using first aid as required Maintaining accurate records of care to clients Reporting any incidents or hazards that impact clients About you: You are passionate about what you do and want to make a difference in the lives of our residents, to support them to facilitate independent living, health and happiness by enhancing their psychological, spiritual, social and physical well-being. You will be pro-active and creative in your approach, considering our clients and their needs.
