About the Role: Randwick - We are looking for experienced and highly skilled Enrolled Nurses (ENs) to provide high-quality care to clients living in their own homes in the Randwick area. This position involves a 24/7 client with active overnight shifts and rosters during public holidays, so we need someone who can commit to 38 hours per week. Role Type: Casual Key Responsibilities: Personalised Care and Support: Provide exceptional personal care and support tailored to the individual needs of our client, assisting with daily activities such as personal care and household tasks, ensuring their comfort and well-being. Complex Care: Duties will include ventilator use, tracheostomy care, stoma care, and ensuring the client receives the highest standard of care in a complex setting. Monitoring and Reporting: Keep a close watch on the client’s health, monitoring vital signs, spotting any changes in their condition, and documenting all relevant information. Effective Communication and Collaboration: Work closely with the broader care team to ensure everything runs smoothly, using your strong communication skills to coordinate care effectively. What We’re Looking For: Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in a high-care or complex care environment. Strong understanding of person-centred care principles, with a focus on promoting individual rights and autonomy. Ability to work flexibly across a variety of shift times (24/7 service) and willingness to travel to the Randwick area. Requirements: A current and unrestricted AHPRA Registration Satisfactory background checks (Police Check, NDIS Worker Screening, and Working with Children Check) will be required. Current First Aid Certificate. 38 hours per week availability preferred. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Full working rights in Australia.
