They have established themselves as a market leader in process and manufacturing. Due to internal movement we're seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to join their team in the Young. Within this role you will be responsible for the oversight of the Maintenance team (approx. 15 trades and apprentices) to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the plant, equipment and facilities on-site, and to facilitate the implementation of the maintenance plan and preventative maintenance activities. About the role: Planning of maintenance tasks to ensure breakdowns are minimal Conducting maintenance inspections Ensuring timely response to breakdowns Continuous improvement Ensure maintenance activities are being conducted in accordance with WHS requirements Monitor and protect the safety of maintenance staff and others directly affected by maintenance activities Report all safety hazards and risks Training and development of staff Assist in the recruitment process of new maintenance personnel Undertake or assist with maintenance rostering Ensure timesheets are completed and accurate What we're looking for: Previous supervisory experience Fitting or Electrical trade qualification Forklift licence Drivers licence EWP ticket Experience rostering staff Conflict resolution skills Strong planning and business organisation ability Analytical and problem-solving ability Passion for quality and continuous improvement Ability to think strategically People management ability Ability to communicate confidently at all levels Willingness to take a hands-on approach Guiding and improving team culture and attitude What's in it for you?
