Accounts Payable Manager $90,000 – $120,000 Super (depending on experience) Southern Suburbs of Brisbane | 5 days on-site We’re partnering with a well-established organisation within the engineering and energy sector , known for delivering large-scale infrastructure and pipeline projects across Australia. With a strong reputation for quality and continued growth, they are now looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to lead their AP function. Reporting into senior finance leadership, you will take ownership of the end-to-end Accounts Payable function while leading a small team. This is a hands-on role with a strong focus on process improvement, stakeholder management and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. Key Responsibilities: • Manage the full Accounts Payable function end-to-end • Lead, mentor and develop the AP team • Oversee high-volume invoice processing and payment runs • Manage supplier relationships and resolve queries in a timely manner • Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies and procedures • Drive process improvements and efficiencies within the AP function • Assist with month-end close and reporting requirements • Partner with internal stakeholders across operations and project teams About you: • Background in high-volume or project-based environments (e.g. construction, engineering, energy or similar) • Strong leadership experience with the ability to mentor and develop staff • Solid understanding of AP processes, controls and best practice • Experience with large ERP systems • Strong communication skills and ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels What’s on Offer • Competitive salary package of $90k – $120k super • Stable, on-site role in the southern suburbs of Brisbane • Opportunity to step into a leadership role within a growing business • Exposure to large-scale, project-driven operations • Supportive team environment with strong leadership If you’re looking to step into (or continue in) a leadership role within a dynamic and growing organisation, I’d love to hear from you.
