You will focus on managing third-party motor settlements, negotiating with insurers, hire car companies, repairers, and legal representatives. This is a task-driven, negotiation-focused role, ideal for someone who enjoys ownership, problem-solving, and achieving fair commercial outcomes. The successful candidate will have motor claims or Settlements experience and be ready to hit the ground running . What’s on Offer Start Date: ASAP Permanent Opportunity Hours: 8:45 am – 5:00 pm (36.25 hours/week) Location: Parramatta, NSW Salary: $80k – $82k Super Flexible Working: Hybrid – Monday & Tuesday in-office, 3 days WFH after training Professional Growth: 3-week structured training program, 1:1 support, and ongoing development Culture & Perks: Reward Gateway access, monthly team events, inclusive and supportive environment Role Duties Review claim details, policy coverage, liability, and exposure to determine potential risks and settlement strategies. Review and assess repair estimates, loss calculations, and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy and reasonableness. Review and validate hire car invoices to confirm charges align with industry standards and agreed terms. Identify patterns of excessive hire car usage or potential collusion between repairers and hire car providers. Determine whether hire car costs are recoverable from the at-fault party or should be absorbed by the company. Negotiate with other insurers in third-party at-fault matters, including claims presented against the company. Engage with third parties, repairers, hire car companies, and legal representatives to negotiate fair, cost-effective settlements in line with company guidelines.
