About the Opportunity We are seeking a WHSE Specialist - Management Systems to drive the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of ASC’s Work Health, Safety & Environment systems. In this pivotal role, you will ensure our systems remain compliant, user‑focused, and aligned with organisational strategy enabling a proactive safety culture across multiple sites. Working in a highly regulated, safety‑critical environment, you will partner with stakeholders to enhance system performance, documentation, reporting and risk management processes. This role is available on a full‑time, part‑time, or job share basis, and we encourage candidates to include their preferred working arrangements in their application. Responsibilities Review, maintain and improve WHSE Management System documentation in line with ASC’s Quality System. Facilitate process improvement initiatives in collaboration with the WHSE Corporate team and key stakeholders. Support audits, incident investigations, and risk management reviews. Deliver training, guidance and user support to enhance system capability and understanding. Identify and implement opportunities for system optimisation and cultural uplift. Contribute to consistent governance, assurance and compliance activities across sites. Provide subject-matter expertise to system design, reporting and upgrade projects. About you Proven experience in Safety Systems Management, delivering system improvements in high tempo industrial operational environments. Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence at all levels. Demonstrated capability in WHSE management system development, implementation and continuous improvement. Sound understanding of compliance frameworks including Australian & international standards, legislation and self‑insurance requirements. Experience designing simplified, user-centred systems that drive practical compliance. Skilled in applying project management principles to system upgrades or improvement initiatives. Competence in data analysis, reporting and dashboard creation. Familiarity with incident management processes, audit methodologies and risk registers. Collaborative leadership style with high integrity, resilience and a customer‑service mindset. Degree-qualified in Health, Safety, Environment or a related discipline (highly desirable). Excellent written and verbal communication, with confidence presenting to large groups. Eligibility This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance up to an NV1 level. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearance. This clearance is not required prior to application process.
