We’re recruiting casual operators at Bunge’s Ardrossan terminal and can offer hours that work around your lifestyle, whether that’s school runs or other commitments. This position involves ensuring the site remains clean and operational, helping to keep the shipping program running smoothly. This role is ideal for individuals who take pride in precision, enjoy practical outdoor work, and thrive in a fast-paced, team-based environment. You’ll work closely with site staff and play a key role in grain movement, storage, and export readiness. Key Responsibilities Keep grain storage areas clean, organised, and compliant with hygiene and safety standards. Carry out routine equipment upkeep, pest management, and hygiene tasks to support smooth terminal operations. Safely and efficiently operate a range of machinery and other essential equipment to load and unload trucks. Assist with bulk grain out turning, including shipping loading, and coordinating road transport. Oversee the condition of bunkers, silos, tarps, and other storage assets to ensure ongoing operational efficiency. About You You thrive working collaboratively and enjoy tackling new challenges together. You have excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, able to clearly and effectively communicate with your team and stakeholders. Familiarity with commodity classification is a bonus but not required. A current driver’s licence is essential for this role. Able to adhere to PPE requirements, including wearing respiratory protection, steel caps, glasses, gloves etc You are committed to maintaining a safe workplace, consistently following safety procedures, and encouraging others to do the same.
