About the Position This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate Village Manager with an exceptional track record ready for the next challenge to lead our Murray Gardens Retirement Village located in East Albury. Your role will be pivotal in implementing RetireAustralia’s purpose of enabling residents to maintain the life they choose within their own home for as long as possible. You will proactively take responsibility for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the village, ensuring that it runs smoothly and efficiently, while delivering high-quality services to our residents. Reporting directly to the Regional Operations Manager, your duties will include but are not limited to: Overall management of the retirement village, including financial management, staff management, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards Planning, developing, and managing Village budgets Manage key services and maintain presentation of the Village to high standards Develop and maintain relationships with residents, their families, and the wider community Provide exceptional customer service to residents, families, and other stakeholders Oversee the recruitment, training, and management of staff, ensuring a high standard of service is delivered at all times Implement policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of residents Work collaboratively with the wider management team to ensure the successful operation of the village Essential Criteria A relevant qualification in Business or Retirement Living is highly desirable. Previous experience in a similar role – retirement village or management of a multi-faceted service organisation Previous experience within Retirement Living, Aged or Community Care services (desirable) Previous Home or Residential Aged Care nursing experience (highly regarded) Strong working knowledge of the Retirement Villages Act (or willingness to quickly ascertain), and other relevant regulations and standards, including health and safety Demonstrated Managerial and Financial Management skills Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Relevant qualification in Business or Retirement Living (desirable) National Police Check (or ability to obtain) First Aid & CPR Certificate (or ability to obtain) Ability to pass a pre-employment medical including a drug and alcohol test Our benefits include the following: The wellbeing of all RetireAustralia team members is our priority and we regularly run initiatives such as safety training, wellness challenges, mental health awareness programs and a free annual flu vaccination program.
