Sounds like a great place to work? We are looking for Casual Security Officers to join our team to help keep our guests safe and be there when they need. What you can expect in a day in this role: Our security officers are an integral component of Country Club’s brand attribute of ‘safety and security’. This role requires an engagement with our customers that goes beyond the traditional security officer role. The key to success is the confidence and ability to converse with guests whilst ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for Country Club customers and staff. Daily duties will include but are not limited to: Patrolling the premises and interacting with guests Acts as a first responder for incidents reported/happening Enforcing rules and property protocol Collaboration with law enforcement if needed Assist with report writing and incident writing What you will bring to the role: With a genuine passion for people and a strong focus on their safety and wellbeing, you’ll bring a friendly, approachable personality and a calm, confident presence to every shift. We’re looking for someone who has: Relevant experience in security and crowd control A current Security Guard and Crowd Control licence Proven skills in conflict resolution and negotiation Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Basic computer skills and confidence using standard systems The ability to obtain a Tasmanian Security Gaming Licence (at your own expense) Flexible availability to work across a 24/7 rotating roster An unrestricted driver’s licence Please note a successful applicant may be subject to pre-employment and ongoing screening checks.
