Maintenance Fitter – Immediate Start | Coopers Plains, QLD Pay: $55/hr Super Overtime (based on experience) Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm Role Type: Ongoing with opportunity to go permanent Company: Leading provider of pipe systems and solutions About the Role : We’re looking for skilled Maintenance Fitters to keep production running smoothly. You’ll perform preventative maintenance, repair plant equipment, and respond quickly to breakdowns while working with a supportive team. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, offering great pay and career growth. Key Responsibilities : – Perform efficient and reliable preventative maintenance – Repair plant equipment to meet production targets – Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns – Prioritize and manage work orders using the MEX system – Maintain accurate equipment logs and records – Collaborate with Production, Planning, and Engineering teams – Achieve KPIs and contribute to continuous improvement About You : – Trade certified in mechanical fitting or related field – Manufacturing experience essential – Knowledge of extrusion & water process equipment preferred – Welding competency (MIG/TIG/Arc) – Strong safety focus and CMMS (MEX) experience desirable – High attention to detail and excellent work ethic – Able to work independently and in a team – Must pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol testing Why Join EIR?
