Brisbane City Office 2-3 days per week $80000 super (FTE) This role represents a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Bookkeeper to join a growing organisation as it scales its operations. The Role You will be responsible for overseeing all finance operations within Xero, including accounts payable, payment runs, payroll for a small team (processed monthly), BAS, superannuation, and payroll tax obligations. Additionally, you will support updates to the chart of accounts and play an active role in the upcoming implementation of SAP, scheduled to go live later this year. Key Responsibilities Overseeing day-to-day financial transactions within Xero, ensuring accurate record-keeping, reconciliations, and integrity of financial data; Managing the accounts payable function, including processing supplier invoices and coordinating timely payment runs; Processing monthly payroll for a small team, ensuring accuracy and compliance with superannuation and payroll tax requirements; Preparing and lodging BAS and supporting compliance with relevant taxation and statutory reporting obligations; Assisting with chart of accounts updates and maintenance to support project and operational reporting needs; and Contributing to the implementation and transition to SAP. About You You are an experienced bookkeep or finance professional with strong hands-on experience using Xero and a solid understanding of end-to-end finance processes. You are confident managing accounts payable, payroll, reconciliations, and general bookkeeping tasks within a small or growing organisation. Highly organised and detail-oriented, you are comfortable managing multiple priorities while working in a part-time capacity. You take a proactive approach to your work and are open to supporting system improvements and process changes, including assisting with the transition to SAP.
