Bar Conte Sydney, located in Sydney NSW 2000 is currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Chef to join their team. Key Responsibilities: • Preparing and cooking a variety of dishes while ensuring consistent quality and presentation • Assisting in the planning and preparation of menus and daily specials • Monitoring food preparation and cooking processes to maintain high standards of taste and appearance • Ensuring ingredients are prepared, portioned and stored according to food safety regulations • Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of kitchen workstations and equipment • Checking the quality of raw and cooked food products to ensure freshness and suitability • Assisting with stock control, including monitoring inventory levels and reporting shortages • Ensuring compliance with food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety standards About you: • At least one year of relevant experience working as a Chef in a commercial kitchen • Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods • Understanding of food safety, hygiene practices and kitchen cleanliness requirements • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment • Good organisational skills and attention to detail • Ability to work collaboratively with other kitchen and service staff • Capacity to follow recipes, kitchen procedures and established operational standards Job Type: Permanent/Full-time Salary: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per annum.
