In one of the most important roles CPP will recruit for in Perth, we are looking for an esteemed Senior Project Manager to play a key role in CPP’s WA operations, supporting the establishment and growth of our WA delivery team. The Opportunity Reporting to the General Manager of Operations in WA, you’ll be responsible for managing a portfolio of projects across their full lifecycle — from early‑stage opportunities and ECI through to construction and close‑out. Working closely with engineering, estimating and construction teams, you’ll drive safe, commercially sound and high‑quality outcomes while building strong client and stakeholder relationships. This is a rare greenfield role at a national premium contractor, that offers the opportunity to shape how projects are delivered in WA, contribute to building local capability, and grow with the business as the WA portfolio continues to expand. Key responsibilities Lead end-to-end project delivery across multiple WA projects (ECI → execution → completion) Manage project commercials effectively, ensuring delivery is on time and within budget and quality is at a high standard Drive project planning: scope, schedule, cost, resourcing, quality and risk plans Own commercial performance (budget, variations, reporting, margin outcomes) Partner with estimating/engineering to develop robust, buildable solutions and pricing About You To be successful in this role, you will possess: Essential: Tertiary qualifications in Engineering (either Electrical, Civil or Mechanical) Essential: 8 years’ experience delivering end-to-end renewable energy and/or electrical infrastructure projects (e.g., windfarms, BESS, HV substations 132kV or above) Strong communication skills with the ability to build trusting relationships with stakeholders across all levels Demonstrated track record managing commercial outcomes and leading delivery teams PMP (or equivalent) and structured project controls discipline Strong WA market understanding (clients/contractors/pricing environment) Leadership style aligned to building a high-performance culture in a new, growing office Be rewarded at CPP.
