World-renowned education provider offering a 12-month role for a motivated and technical analyst. Your new company You'll be joining a large, non-profit further education organisation, based in Sydney. Working in a well-established finance team, you'll be tasked with managing varied stakeholders and liaising with leadership, in order to provide strategic support using financial data. Your new role You'll be responsible for varied duties across the management accounting and analysis as part of a large corporate finance team, working with non-finance staff too. As the Financial Analyst, you will be tasked with the following: Budgeting and forecasting Month-end analysis Stakeholder management and business partnering Presenting financial data to leadership and non-finance teams Influencing strategic plans with thoughtful analysis and ideas Process improvements What you'll need to succeed You'll have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a specific background as follows: Strong PowerBI skills, including dashboard creation Advanced level Excel skills Experience in large, complex businesses such as ASX listed, higher education or government departments Excellent stakeholder management and presentation skills Motivated to improve processes proactively What you'll get in return You will receive $600700/day super, and you will be employed by Hays as a casual. The contract is expected to last 12 months. You will be working with experienced and personable teammates, and will have the opportunity to shape processes, strategies and team dynamics.
