Your new company A prominent Australian higher education institution is delivering a major Cybersecurity Program of Work to uplift its enterprisewide security capabilities. To support successful delivery, the CIO has endorsed the recruitment of an experienced Business Analyst to join the Cybersecurity Portfolio. Your new role You will play a critical role across two major cyber uplift initiatives: Network Security Uplift Supporting the organisations microsegmentation uplift to protect critical applications and workloads and reduce the risk of lateral movement during a cyberattack. Application Security Remediation Leveraging Wiz to identify vulnerabilities across institutionhosted and cloud environments, supporting the development and execution of prioritised remediation plans. What you'll need to succeed We are seeking a Business Analyst with demonstrated cyber or ICT project experience, including: Strong requirements elicitation and documentation (BRDs, user stories, process maps) Effective stakeholder engagement across security, infrastructure, cloud, and application teams Ability to translate technical engineering risks into clear business impacts Experience in riskbased prioritisation and impact assessment Ability to create executive dashboards, reporting, and risk summaries Proficiency in analysing large datasets using advanced Excel or Power BI Understanding of vulnerability management and the remediation lifecycle Knowledge of cloud security fundamentals (IaaS, PaaS, IAM, misconfiguration risks) Familiarity with microsegmentation, lateral movement, and Zero Trust principles Minimum 4 years Cyber/ICT Business Analysis experience Prior experience in the highereducation sector (highly desirable) What you'll get in return Opportunity to contribute to enterprisecritical cybersecurity uplift initiatives Supportive and highly collaborative project environment Hybrid working options Competitive marketaligned contractor rate What you need to do now If youre interested in this opportunity and ready to make an immediate impact within a major cyber program, apply today. 2985473
