About The Opportunity We’re seeking a Project Manager to lead the continued delivery of the New Dubbo Bridge project. Already in an advanced stage of construction, this high-profile infrastructure project will deliver a second high-level crossing over the Macquarie River, improving travel efficiency along the Newell Highway, easing congestion, and enhancing flood resilience. The role involves overseeing the remaining construction works, coordinating multiple contractors, and managing complex interfaces across civil, structural, and services elements. You’ll be hands-on on site, providing strong leadership to a team of engineers, contractors, and stakeholders. You will drive project delivery, ensuring works are completed safely, on schedule and within budget while maintaining the highest quality standards. This role offers the option to FIFO from Sydney, with accommodation and LAFHA provided. What You’ll Bring To The Team Proven experience as a Project Manager on Transport for NSW projects is essential. Strong knowledge of project management frameworks, including budgeting, scheduling, contract administration, and risk management. Ability to take a practical, hands-on approach to delivery, supporting the site team directly when required. Demonstrated experience in leading multi-disciplinary teams, managing contractors, and engaging stakeholders effectively. Commitment to safety, quality, and compliance, with a proactive approach to resolving issues and mitigating risks. Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make decisions confidently under pressure.
