About the Role We’re looking for a talented individual to join our team on a 12‑month full‑time fixed‑term contract, supporting a period of parental leave. This role plays an important part in shaping and sharing the stories that build Woods Bagot and the 7C Network’s global reputation and is an opportunity to gain experience in a world renowned global design firm. You’ll turn design thinking, research and project work into clear, compelling content that supports brand positioning and business growth. You’ll collaborate closely with sector leaders, regional teams, digital specialists and external PR partners to deliver integrated communications across multiple platforms. This is a hands‑on role for a communications practitioner who can lead campaigns from idea through to delivery, ensure a consistent global voice, and provide clear insight into the performance and impact of communications activity. Strong writing skills, confidence working with media, and a practical, proactive approach are essential. Key Responsibilities Write and deliver high‑quality PR and communications content, including media releases, project stories, case studies, thought leadership articles and event wraps Pitch stories directly to media and work closely with external PR agencies to secure meaningful earned coverage Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists and key media outlets Translate complex design, research and project work into clear, compelling narratives Support integrated communications campaigns across digital, social, media and internal channels Contribute to and maintain content libraries, case studies and communications assets Track and report on PR and communications performance, helping refine measurement and reporting frameworks Work confidently across teams, regions and time zones to deliver consistent, on‑brand communications Apply AI tools to support research, content development and workflow efficiency. About You You are someone that combines strategic thinking with strong execution. You’re an excellent writer and editor, comfortable moving quickly from brief to delivery, and confident shaping narratives that articulate the commercial and strategic value of projects. You enjoy working across teams and disciplines, build trusted relationships with ease, and are comfortable operating in a global, design‑led environment. You bring curiosity, clarity and structure to your work, and you take pride in producing thoughtful, high‑quality communications. You will be able to Demonstrate 5–10 years’ experience in PR and communications PR agency experience is a plus Strong media relations skills, with confidence pitching and working directly with journalists Experience delivering brand communications and PR within an established strategy The ability to quickly identify and articulate the value of projects and ideas through clear storytelling Experience with PR reporting and measurement, translating activity into insight Confidence using AI tools and prompting to support content development and efficiency Excellent writing and editing skills across press releases, case studies and thought leadership Strong organisation skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities The ability to produce clear and logical written communication and presentations in English.
