Workforce Extensions Footscray, our valued client is seeking a professional and quality focused Solid Works/Sheet Metal Programmer to join their growing team in Thomastown. An innovative and developing business our client, which is a leading Australian manufacturer of electrical switchboard manufacturing facilities based in Thomastown, This is more than just a job, it's a chance to be part of a company at the forefront of the industry, with opportunities for career advancement and personal growth. This exciting opportunity will start on dayshift 7am-3.06pm, Monday - Friday. We are after a highly motivated Solid Works/Sheet Metal Programmer , to become an integral part of the team. This is a permanent opportunity for the right candidate. You will play a key role in producing high-quality fabricated components by accurately interpreting technical drawings, following work orders, and maintaining strong safety and quality standards. The Position Working with a team orientation you will be required to read and generate detailed shop drawings and create 3D models taking products from the initial stages through to manufacture. Key Responsibilities/ Skills & Qualifications: Will have previous experience in sheet metal fabrication/able to read shop drawings, possess excellent communication skills and MUST be experienced in SolidWorks 3D Modelling. A knowledge of Teksoft and AP100 would be highly regarded. Comply with all company policies, procedures, safety guidelines, and quality requirements Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail Ability to accurately read and interpret technical drawings and specifications Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Strong focus on safety, quality, and attention to detail Reliable, punctual, and flexible across production area Who you are: If you're excited by building something great, we want to hear from you.
