THE ROLE: You will be providing customer support and technical input for the management of the commercial fleet, by ensuring vehicles and/or equipment supplied is built to industry and regulatory standards, maintained within set guidelines and operating within the industry specification and in an environment that the vehicle/equipment is designed. Some of your key responsibilities in this role will include (but not limited to): Develop and maintain Maintenance Programs for our large heavy commercial vehicle fleets Carry out fleet and workshop auditing in alignment with these Maintenance programs Carry out build management and new vehicle inspections on all new HCV assets Act as escalation point for the business to address any HCV related issues (high cost repairs, major failures, warranty disputes etc) Act as subject matter expert for customer strategic reviews or similar Raise and amend quotes as required. ABOUT YOU: You’re a knowledgeable and practical professional with strong experience in the heavy vehicle industry. You bring a hands-on approach, communicate well with a range of stakeholders, and are comfortable working both independently and on the road. To be successful in this role, you will have: A minimum of 8 years’ experience within the heavy vehicle fleet and/or mechanical repair industry Strong knowledge of the commercial vehicle industry A trade qualification Excellent written and verbal communication skills A current driver’s licence and willingness to obtain, at a minimum, an HR licence The ability to travel intrastate regularly and interstate occasionally (approximately one week per month) THE PERKS: We offer more than just a role: 27 days of annual leave per year.
