In anticipation of growth within our operations, we are seeking expressions of interest from experienced Drillers for our projects in the northern Bowen Basin region. Job duties: Operating our REICHdrill C700 and C750 platform drill rigs Accurately checking the quality and depth of drill holes and recording ground conditions that may affect blasting Maintaining a clean and tidy rig and reporting/addressing any maintenance faults Demonstrate a positive attitude towards regular and reliable drill metres, rig utilisation and consumables usage Provide neat and complete associated documentation for drill reports, pre-starts etc Regularly use safety tools such as JHA's and Take 5's Be willing to be trained across a variety of drill rigs in the fleet and show an adaptable attitude Willingness to learn and assist blast crew on drill & blast projects Experience and qualifications sought: Experience using platform rotary drill rigs Previous experience in Blast Hole Drilling in Black Coal mining (desirable) Australian Driver Licence Standard 11 Statement of Attainment RII for Blast Hole Drilling - RIIBHD301D/E (highly desirable) Successful candidates will be required to undergo pre-employment medical assessments including a drug and alcohol screen.
