This role supports Development FP&A by delivering timely, accurate analysis and reporting for the Development portfolio. You will consolidate financial and operational results, lead business improvement initiatives, and build financial models end-to-end. You will also support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis - providing insights that inform decision‑making and help senior management drive performance and growth. Your Responsibilities Coordinate and support financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting cycles for divisions and portfolios, ensuring alignment with Development and Group strategy. Maintain and interpret development project budgets and forecasts, partnering with Commercial Finance to review assumptions, ensure accounting outcomes, and report at both project and portfolio levels using Anaplan and Excel-based models. Challenge and coordinate forecast inputs across specialist functions to improve accuracy and alignment. Lead sub-workstreams within planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, ensuring high-quality inputs. Develop a strong grasp of commercial and accounting aspects across the portfolio. Demonstrate expertise in three-way financial statements, financial ratios, and the interdependencies of key metrics. Apply advanced analytics to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and variances, delivering actionable performance insights and recommendations. Prepare clear, actionable reporting and insights for mid-level stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and well-structured PowerPoint presentations. Build effective cross-functional relationships, including partnering with the Commercial Finance and Financial Control, while providing direct support to the Senior Finance Manager, Development FP&A. Drive process improvements and efficiencies across financial planning and reporting activities Your Point of Difference To be successful, you will bring: 6-7 years’ experience in chartered accounting and commercial environments (desirable) CPA/CA qualification (essential) Experience with business tools/systems such as Microsoft BI, Tableau, Salesforce, and Anaplan Property industry exposure (desirable) Strong stakeholder engagement and problem‑solving skills are essential Strong written and verbal communication skills Well‑developed analytical and problem‑solving skills Strong technical accounting and financial modelling capability Advanced Excel skills Excellent attention to detail Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and mentor finance team members Passion, a self‑motivated can‑do attitude, and the ability to work to deadlines Working at Mirvac At Mirvac, our people are at the heart of everything we do.
