An important role has become available at our Pakenham Store, situated only 45 Min. by Freeway East of Melbourne CBD in the bustling West Gippsland region of Victoria. Elders Pakenham services the local horticulture and livestock industries, providing technical support and marketing advice to producers. Our Hort Customers grow a huge variety of crops including all forms of vegetables, herbs, berries, apples, potatoes, herbs, grapes, cut flowers & plant nurseries, to name a few, for local and international markets. We supply on farm technical support through a team of specialized Hort Agronomist and deliver the necessary product throughout West, Central & South Gippsland, Mornington Peninsula, Yarra Valley & Metropolitan Melbourne. We also service the Beef Cattle, Dairy & Sheep industry throughout Gippsland. The Pakenham Branch is growing strongly, and this growth has seen us relocate in recent months to a purpose-built, state of the art warehouse and office facility. This major investment demonstrates the contribution Elders Pakenham makes within the Elders Network, consistently performing in the top 5% of locations nationally. On offer is one of the most exciting Rural Products roles available within Elders. It requires leadership of a sales team including Sales Agronomists, in Store Salespeople and support staff. We require an experienced and motivated individual who is customer focused, team orientated and not afraid of a challenge. About the role We are looking for a Rural Products Sales Manager to join the growing team on a permanent, full-time basis. As an Elders Rural Products Sales Manager at Pakenham, your expert product knowledge and customer service skills will enable you to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, including finding new opportunities for them to explore. You are also a strong leader with demonstrated people management and merchandise operational skills.
