The Role Reporting to the Infrastructure Manager, this role is responsible for supporting, maintaining and improving the organisation’s network and infrastructure environment, ensuring reliable business-as-usual operations while contributing to approved infrastructure projects. This is a hands-on technical role within a collaborative enterprise team. Interstate travel will be required to support operational sites and project delivery. You’ll be responsible for: Supporting and maintaining enterprise network and ITS infrastructure in line with agreed SLAs Providing business-as-usual infrastructure and network support across multiple sites Managing and delivering approved infrastructure and network projects Acting as a technical escalation point for ITS support teams Designing, implementing and maintaining secure network and infrastructure solutions Supporting voice systems, wireless networks and associated infrastructure Managing vendors, consultants and third-party service providers Supporting disaster recovery testing and infrastructure resilience initiatives Adhering to change management, governance and documentation standards Identifying recurring issues and driving root-cause resolution Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with OHSE requirements Contributing to continuous improvement and infrastructure optimisation initiatives Providing onsite support at interstate locations as required Your Background You’re an experienced Network Engineer with strong enterprise exposure, a hands-on technical skillset, and a proactive, service-focused mindset. What you’ll bring: 5 years’ experience in Network, Infrastructure or ITS roles Strong hands-on experience with network infrastructure technologies Proven experience with Cisco routers and switches Proven exeprience with Palo Alto Proven experience with Riverbed Experience with voice systems and network design Knowledge of wireless configuration, troubleshooting and optimisation Experience supporting cloud environments (SaaS / IaaS) Knowledge of security hardware and solutions (firewalls, IPS/IDS, etc.) Experience across Microsoft technologies and Microsoft Cloud services Solid understanding of ITIL and infrastructure best practices Project delivery experience within enterprise environments Strong communication skills and ability to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders Willingness and ability to travel interstate as required Experience working in asset-intensive or operational environments (highly regarded) Cisco certification (or equivalent practical experience) is required. Tertiary IT qualifications are desirable. What’s on Offer?
