About the Role: We are seeking experienced Heavy Diesel Fitters to join our team at Blackwater Mine. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in maintaining and repairing our large production fleet to ensure safe, reliable and high-performance operations. You will work across a diverse range of equipment, including: Hitachi EX8000, CAT 6060 & Hitachi EX3600 excavators Komatsu 930E & CAT 789C haul trucks CAT 16M & 18M graders CAT D10 & D11 dozers CAT 785 water trucks This is a great opportunity for fitters who enjoy working with big gear, strong team culture, and a stable long-term contract. About You: You’ll bring the technical expertise and proactive mindset needed to keep a busy fleet running safely and efficiently, including: Relevant Diesel Fitter / Heavy Vehicle trade qualifications Demonstrated experience in a similar mining maintenance role Proven exposure to 789 and 930E trucks, and 600T & 800T Caterpillar, Hitachi & O&K excavators High level of initiative with the ability to work effectively under pressure Strong commitment to safety and attention to detail Good planning, diagnostic and problem-solving skills Coal Board Medical (desired, not essential) Standard 11 (desired, not essential) If you’re looking for a stable role with a supportive maintenance team, this is an excellent opportunity.
