An experienced Asset Management Engineer needed for data, reporting, & planning support on a 3-month contract Your new local council Are you an experienced Asset Management professional looking for your next contract opportunity? Were partnering with a wellestablished Victorian organisation seeking an Asset Management Engineer to support their Engineering team on a shortterm engagement. This is a fantastic role for someone who enjoys improving asset data quality, supporting audit and financial processes, and working across multiple asset classes in a collaborative team. In this hands-on contract, you will play a key part in strengthening the organisations asset management capability. Youll be responsible for enhancing asset data integrity, supporting endofyear asset processes, preparing reports, and assisting in procurement and planning activities. Your new role This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a datadriven environment and enjoys ensuring systems, reporting and processes are accurate, compliant, and auditready. Maintain, cleanse and validate asset data within the asset management system (Univerus) and GIS tools. Support end-of-year asset actions, including reconciliations, capitalisation, disposals and reporting. Prepare asset-related reports, dashboards and documentation to support informed decision-making. Assist in the procurement of asset condition audits, ensuring quality and compliance. Contribute to the development and refinement of Asset Management Plans, strategies, lifecycle frameworks and technical specifications. Ensure alignment with legislative, audit and organisational standards. Provide technical support to internal stakeholders on asset management systems, processes and data requirements. What you'll need to succeed To be successful, youll bring: Extensive in asset management, ideally across multiple asset classes. Strong experience working with asset management systems (Univerus highly desirable). Demonstrated capability in endofyear asset processes: capitalisation, reconciliations, revaluations, and audit support. Solid understanding of asset lifecycle planning, condition assessments and renewal strategies. Strong communication skills with the ability to prepare clear, evidencebased reporting. Experience supporting procurement and contract administration related to asset inspections and assessments. High attention to detail, strong analytical skills and proactive problem-solving.
