Utilise your strong technical accounting expertise within a listed organisation Your new company Work with a listed business, in partnership with an experienced senior finance leader, taking ownership of financial reporting, tax and statutory requirements. Your new role The role encompasses all work relating to tax, financial reporting and financial statement preparation, as well as supporting consolidation processes. Your role will be key to ensuring rigourous internal controls are in place, as well as taking the initiative to improve processes where relevant. There is, of course, involvement with regular month-end close, year-end and reporting activities as well as ad hoc projects as they arise. What you'll need to succeed You will be CA or CPA qualified with experience working for a listed business or large multinational. Initial training in a Big 4 or top tier firm would be highly regarded, and in depth knowledge of IFRS, tax effect accounting and governance is essential for success in this role. It goes without saying that this role requires excellent attention to detail, whilst also requiring someone to be able to communicate with people across the business, as this role is seen as a technical accounting SME.
