Newly created role – make it your own. View to permanent (being recruited on a temp basis due to speed of turnaround). Fair hourly rate in line with your skills and capabilities. Operating as the right-hand operator to a highly respected CFO who has built an impressive career in their field, and is also involved in a number of external philanthropic efforts, you’ll be able to utilise your wealth of experience and confidence to provide 5 star executive support from day one. You’ll hold an important, operational support role and work to free up their time to focus on steering the business, allowing them to oversee all finances and advisory efforts. You’ll be by their side as they push ahead with strategic growth, all the while, ensuring the back end systems and administration runs seamlessly. Having worked for a CFO in the past you’ll understand the nature of their work, and be confident to lean in to their world. Advanced Word and confidence with PowerPoint will be required as in their line of business, they create a create, update and finesse a wide range of presentations regularly. In additional, you’ll provide adhoc support to 1-2 SLT members from time to time. What with the role entail? Managing the diary, scheduling meetings, prioritising tasks and protecting your executive’s focus. Email management, responding on their behalf and creating a usable system to ensure emails are actioned correctly. Organising domestic travel and coordinating logistics for meetings and board/committee sessions. Preparing, formatting and proofreading high-level documents including agenda’s, action points, board reports and PowerPoint presentations – you’re a stickler for the detail. Taking minutes, tracking actions and following up across finance and cross-functional initiatives. Acting as a trusted gatekeeper, liaising with senior internal and external stakeholders. Operating as ‘the vault’ at all times – managing confidential information with discretion and professionalism. Contributing positively to a collaborative, high-performing EA community – uplifting the team and helping maintain a supportive office culture. This role requires someone who is autonomous, professional and technically competent , with a warm and approachable personality .
