Yardperson / Vehicle Yard Hand Casual | High Wycombe WA 6057 AU Date Posted: 13-03-2026 About the Role We are currently seeking a reliable Yardperson / Vehicle Yard Hand to assist with the movement, inspection, and preparation of vehicles within a busy compound. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work and being active throughout the day. You will play an important part in ensuring vehicles are safely handled, inspected, and prepared for transport or customer delivery. Key Duties: Vehicle Handling Driving and relocating vehicles within the yard to support daily operations Recording vehicle movements using a handheld smart device Inbound and Outbound Inspections Inspecting vehicles entering and leaving the compound Recording condition using a mobile device, including photos and damage notes Vehicle Washing and Detailing Cleaning and preparing vehicles to maintain presentation and readiness for delivery or transport Tools and Equipment Key Requirements: Valid driver’s licence (probationary licence acceptable) Ability to drive manual and automatic vehicles Comfortable with physically active work, including extensive walking Ability to move safely through tight spaces within a vehicle yard Comfortable using mobile devices and digital systems for inspections and reporting Strong teamwork and communication skills This is a great opportunity to join a busy logistics and vehicle operations environment with ongoing work available for the right candidate.
