About the Role: PLC Sydney is seeking a highly organised and principled leader to oversee our Boarding House on a fixed-term basis for Terms 2 and 3, 2026. This pivotal leadership role provides essential coverage during a period of Long Service Leave. Reporting directly to the Principal, the interim Director will ensure the continued operational excellence, safety, and holistic growth of our boarders within a supportive Christian environment. Skills & Expectations: Maintain high standards of duty of care, ethical conduct, and strict confidentiality in all interactions and documentation. Provide calm, empathetic guidance to students navigating the emotional and practical challenges of communal living, such as homesickness or health emergencies. Build strong relationships with students, staff, and families through effective communication and a commitment to participating in school functions beyond standard hours. Demonstrate proficiency in organisation, time management, and computer literacy to handle documentation and administrative tasks efficiently. Possess a current Australian driver’s license, a Certificate in Duty of Care (ABSA), and up-to-date certifications in First Aid, anaphylaxis, asthma, and Mental Health First Aid.
