A leading organisation within the water and utilities sector is seeking an experienced Senior Engineer – Control Systems (SCADA) to support the operation, maintenance and ongoing development of critical industrial control systems across a large and complex operational environment. This role will provide specialist engineering expertise across SCADA platforms, supporting both operational systems and the delivery of infrastructure and technology projects. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, project teams and system integrators to ensure reliable monitoring and supervisory control of distributed assets and processes. The Role - Key responsibilities include: Providing technical leadership and subject matter expertise across the organisation’s SCADA and control systems environment Supporting projects through design reviews, technical input, factory and site acceptance testing Developing and reviewing functional requirements and engineering documentation for system upgrades and modifications Supporting the commissioning and integration of SCADA and Historian systems, including configuration of objects, schematics and database points Performing system enhancements and modifications as part of minor works and improvement initiatives Leading SCADA engineering activities for upgrades, migrations and new project delivery Supporting incident investigation and resolution relating to control system performance and reliability Ensuring governance, integrity and data quality across the SCADA environment About You: You will bring strong technical experience across industrial control systems and SCADA environments within utilities, infrastructure, manufacturing, or similar operational industries. Key requirements include: Registered Professional Engineer (Electrical) in Victoria, or currently progressing through the registration process - This is a MUST applicants without will not be considered.
