Teacher - Special Education A highly specialised education centre in North West Sydney is seeking a dedicated and resilient Secondary Teacher to join their team on a full-time temporary basis . This setting supports students who have become disengaged from mainstream education, offering a more personalised, supportive, and flexible approach to learning . Every day is different - and every small win matters Key Responsibilities Deliver engaging and accessible lessons across secondary year levels Adapt teaching strategies to suit individual learning needs Build strong, trusting relationships with students Support student wellbeing and emotional regulation ❤️ Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team Contribute to individual learning and behaviour support plans About You Qualified Secondary or Special Education Teacher (any subject) with relevant experience Experience working with disengaged or vulnerable students (highly regarded) Strong classroom management and relationship-building skills Patient, resilient, and empathetic approach ❤️ Ability to adapt teaching to diverse learning needs A genuine passion for supporting students beyond academics The Opportunity This role is ideal for a teacher who is looking for more than a traditional classroom setting.
