GenesisCare is seeking an experienced and values-driven Director of Nursing to provide strategic nursing leadership across our oncology services, including radiation oncology, medical oncology and theranostics. This is a rare opportunity to step into a senior, influential role where you will lead nursing practice across multiple sites, partner closely with executive and clinical leaders, and drive best-practice, patient-centred care at both a state and national level. About the role As Director of Nursing, you will provide overarching leadership and direction to nursing teams, ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality, evidence-based care aligned to the National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) Standards. You will play a key role in shaping nursing strategy, workforce capability, and innovative models of care, balancing local site needs with broader organisational priorities. Reporting directly to the NSW General Manager, this is a permanent full-time role. More specifically you will: Provide strategic and professional nursing leadership across multiple sites within a state-wide structure Partner with Centre Leaders, Operations Managers and General Managers to ensure a skilled, sustainable nursing workforce Drive continuous improvement, clinical governance, and compliance with national standards Lead the development and implementation of nursing models of care, policies and professional development frameworks Contribute to state and national nursing initiatives, committees and strategic projects Support accreditation, quality improvement, workforce planning and financial performance Promote a strong and positive nursing profile internally and externally About You: You are a senior nursing leader who thrives in complexity and influence. You bring strong emotional intelligence, resilience, and the ability to lead through change in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
